I would still be here if I hadn't relocated to a new state. I definitely miss my coworkers and our teamwork. I enjoy working in the Trauma ICU because it has helped me fulfill my want and need to help others. I have learned so much in the 3 years that I have been employed here. Saint Francis is a great place to work in terms of helping insure patients are well taken care of but i feel the company/department could do better when it comes to the employees. Really enjoyed working for this company, and really loved caring for patients because you really got to know who they were, and could be able to help them in their time of need. I learned so much in this field and during this job. The physicians were great to work with. There wasn't much knowledge of expectations of the position, was able to work with management to determine. Dayshift is more welcoming than night caring of employees trying to go to school while on dayshift my supervisor and bosses over her work with my school schedule but when transfer to nights was fired Two weeks in I enjoyed working with the patients and the reward of caring for others.

What are soft skills? Sometimes they are also called people skills or interpersonal skills but basically they are your personal qualities which determine how well you interact with other people. For many employers, soft skills are just as important as hard skills. Why Are Soft Skills Important? When a huge pile of resumes are screened for any role, all the candidates who make it into the short list already have the qualifications and experience required for the role. It's a given. Even if some experience is lacking, hard skills can be quite easily taught and then measured. Soft skills on the other hand are much harder to teach. For example, a candidate with a Marketing degree and 2 years experience has lots of marketing knowledge and some brand experience. You can teach them many more marketing job tasks and build their experience, it just takes time. What if a similar candidate had more years of experience but was not very positive or self motivated? Could you teach them those skills?
I was told I'd never be a store manager because I couldn't get the truck team to finish a truck in 8 hours. Logistics has terrible hours. 5am to 1pm one day then 4pm to midnight the next. After 6 years I walked out one morning during truck. Best decision I ever made. Awesome place to work with realistic advancement to reach higher levels. Excellent pay and hours. By the book company and no surprises. Flexible hours and good management. Pros Discount on tools and great pay and Benifits Cons Working some weekends Really comes down to management. I had a lousy manager who would check out as soon as I arrived or any of the supervisors who could also do managerial work. The company (to be fair, like most) kept coming up with sillier ways to accomplish simple tasks that only made them more difficult. Low wages for the entry level folks, with a high work most employees are not A+ level workers. The "discount" is the same as the coupons that are sent out(with the exception to restricted stuff).
